Jascha Narveson I'm not into most singer/songwriters, but José González dials into a trance-like mode where the guitar picking has the same hypnotic machine-like feel of old banjo picking patterns or even Moroccan Gnawa music (that's a stretch).

The production is perfect for rainy days - the vocals have the same echo-like aura as early Simon & Garfunkel albums, and the delivery is always quiet and cool. Favorite track: Slow Moves.
